You may be eligible to receive up to $17.02 off your monthly local telephone and Internet bill through the Lifeline Program.
You are eligible if you receive any of the following: Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance (FHPA), Veterans Pension & Survivors Pension Benefit, Tribally Administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Distribution Programs on Tribal Lands (FPDIR), Head Start Tribal Programs (Only those meeting its income qualifying standard), Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, or 135% of the federal poverty level*.
A consumer must provide THREE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS of statements as documentation of income, or provide a copy of their tax return for the previous year.
*Customer may not have multiple Lifeline Program benefits with the same or different providers.
In addition to the support provided the Lifeline program, special low-cost Internet price plans are offered to qualifying customers. Wired customers can receive 1M Service for $31.95. Fiber customers can receive 15M x 2M service for $35.95. These packages are only available to Lifeline qualifying customers.
